Terms of Service
These terms govern your use of Tatsby's website, mobile applications, artist directory, booking tools, and related services.
Last updated: July 24, 2026
1. Accepting These Terms
By accessing or using Tatsby, you agree to these terms and our Privacy Policy. You must be legally able to enter this agreement. Tattoo services may be limited by age, consent, identification, and local-law requirements set by the artist or studio.
2. Marketplace Role
Tatsby helps people discover and contact independent tattoo artists. Unless expressly stated otherwise, Tatsby is not the tattoo provider, studio, employer, or agent. Artists control their services, pricing, availability, consultation requirements, safety practices, and acceptance of any request.
3. Accounts
You are responsible for accurate account information, safeguarding access to your account, and activity performed through it. Do not impersonate another person, create fraudulent accounts, or use Tatsby to violate another person's rights. You may request account deletion through our account-deletion page.
4. Inquiries and Bookings
A website inquiry is not a confirmed appointment. A booking is confirmed only when the artist or studio expressly accepts it and any required deposit or confirmation step is completed. Dates, prices, deposits, cancellation terms, and design scope must be confirmed before service.
5. Payments and Refunds
When enabled, card payments are processed by Stripe. Tatsby does not store full card numbers. Deposits, refunds, rescheduling, and cancellations are governed by the terms shown before payment and any artist or studio policy disclosed to you. Contact support promptly if a payment or booking record is incorrect.
6. Designs and AI Concepts
Design tools and AI-generated concepts are planning aids, not final tattoo instructions or guarantees of originality, availability, or suitability. A qualified artist must review placement, dimensions, skin considerations, and execution. Do not submit content you do not have permission to use.
7. User Content
You retain ownership of content you submit. You grant Tatsby a limited license to host, process, and display that content only as needed to provide and improve the requested service. You represent that your content is lawful and does not infringe privacy, intellectual-property, publicity, or other rights.
8. Prohibited Conduct
Do not misuse the service, bypass security or rate limits, scrape personal data, upload malware, harass users, facilitate illegal activity, submit deceptive information, or interfere with Tatsby, artists, studios, or other users.
9. Safety and Disclaimers
Tattoos involve health and safety risks. Follow the artist's consultation and aftercare instructions and seek appropriate medical advice for health concerns. Tatsby is provided on an "as available" basis. We do not guarantee artist availability, results, uninterrupted access, or that every listing or user statement is error-free.
10. Suspension and Termination
We may restrict or terminate access when reasonably necessary to protect users, comply with law, investigate fraud, or enforce these terms. You may stop using Tatsby at any time and request deletion of your account and associated personal data, subject to lawful retention obligations.
11. Changes and Contact
We may update these terms as the service changes. Material updates will be reflected by the date above. Questions can be submitted through the Support Center.
